Bai Yufen received her M. A. in British and American Literature from Nanjing Normal University in 2006 and since then she has been teaching English at Nanjing University of Finance and Economics.

Work experience:

Courses she teaches include College English, Selected Readings on Business & Economics From Journals, English Pronunciation and Intonation and so on. Her research interests are British literature and American literature. She is currently working on the project “The image of China in the 19th Century British Literary Periodicals” supported by the Philosophy and Social Sciences Research Funds Higher-educational Institutions in Jiangsu Province. Awards and honors she has received are as follows: in 2020, together with her colleagues, Third Prize of Jiangsu province finals in the FLTRP “Star Teacher” contest; in 2017, together with her colleagues, Second Prize of Jiangsu province in the 3^rd national contest of micro-lectures on foreign languages; in 2008, winner of the Outstanding Employee of the Year Award.
